I feel as though we have been having a problem with our oven lately. I don’t know if it’s just me but it just feels like the gas isn’t flowing the way it always used to. I think I may just be getting paranoid, but I swear there is a little bit of a different smell in the air and it is starting to get me worried.
The weird thing is that I have already has somebody out to check on the cooker and they told me that everything was absolutely fine. Still, I can’t quite shake this feeling that there is a small leak somewhere and I’m getting really worried about it. I started doing a little research to see if I could find a way to get it checked out and I came across a few air quality testing Montreal companies that reckon they can detect if there is any gas in the air.
I’ve heard about these sorts of companies before, but I always thought that you only needed to carry out air quality testing if the house had mold or if it was damp. Luckily for me it seems that their services stretch far beyond that and they can check for practically any undesired particles in the air as well.
So now I’m looking to find an air quality testing company that I feel like I can actually trust to do the job properly. As nice as the guy who came to check our cooker out was, I just don’t feel like he did a proper job. For one, he didn’t even bother to take a look at the pipe leading into the cooker, so he would never have spotted any leak from them if there is one.
Getting air quality testing done will hopefully allay all of my fears and get rid of this niggling feeling that I have in the back of my mind. It’s gotten to the point where I’m worried to walk around in the house without the windows open, so to say it’s affecting my life would be something of an understatement. I guess the sensible part of me says that if there really was gas there it would probably have ignited by now, but I reckon peace of mind is important here. I’ll have a company come down in a couple of days and try to get to the bottom of this issue once and for all.
